certificate to all students who have passed their final examination
successfully
at the end of the course.
3- Success in the end - of - term Examinations
The students are required to get a minimum of 12 grades in
their exams, and their grade average should be Fourteen.
4- Attendance in class
The Maximum absence day for each student is 8 sessions.
Many interested individuals specifically the dear brethren in
faith from all over the world in their correspondence to the center have made
inquiries about the Kiblah, timings of religious duties, etc.
The center, in
response to these patrons, on receipt of the letters immediately classifies the
queries and sends them to the Academic body
and after detailed discussion on appropriate response is sent to the inquirer's
address.
The center, after identifying the general needs of the public
specifically the Muslim brethren, circulates news items through the mass media
on appropriate occasions.

5 - Under construction research and educational projects
1- Cosmic radio observation project
Celestial bodies except of
visible light they also radiate invisible waves. Studying the bodies is easier
and better with these waves. The center with the assistant of the telecom
company is making the arrangements of making the devices and antennas for
receiving these waves. Until now 20 of students, scholars and interested people
have passed the professional course.
2- Finding the location of the national observatory
The Ministry of science and
technology is considered to institute the country's national observatory with a
1m diameter telescope. The following provinces are selected in the
primary researches, Khorasan, Isfahan, Kerman and Qom. The main location is
selected under the supervision of Prof. Sabouti the chairman of supplementary
studies center of Zanjan. The Astronomical Research Center as an assistant has
been selected for research and finding the location of the project in Qom with
its experts under the supervision of Dr. Mir Torabi.
3- Ayaatul-Aflaak project
About 1/40 of Ayaat of the holy Qur'an is about the cosmic and the universe.
Various Traditions (Hadith) are also
available about them that are about this matter from the Impeccable-Aemmah.
The center is researching on Ayaat and Traditions. We have researched on
comments of Ayaat and Traditions and in some cases we have made a technical
research on considered themes.

6- Active research projects
1- Receive and Transmit Atomic-Clock waves
In astronomical researches
there is the need to register the research test moments exactly as they are.
Today the GPS satellites transmit Atomic-Clock waves. The center is attending to
receive and utilize these waves. We can also use them for public benefits.
2- Institution of a virtual observatory
The best place for institution of an
observatory is in high and dark places where there is no artificial light. Going
to such places has a lot of problems. Today with modern technology and the
internet, the possibility of guiding and controlling the observatory has become
a usual fact.
The observatory is under construction.

7 Ü Center aims
The lofty aims which the center strives to achieve are
mentioned below as short - term and long-term goals.
A. Short - Term
goals:
1- Teaching the topics which the students and scholars of the
Hawza-e-Ilmiyyah require: e.g. chronology, identifying the Kiblah, Crescent
sighting, and etc. both theoretical and practical aspects.

instruct and guide the general laity in the important topics.
2- Calculation and distribution of timings of religious
duties.
3- Preparation and distribution of instructional texts.
4- Response to queries from various people on relevant topics.
5- Organizing scientific conferences with invitations to
scholars and experts.
6- Reports from the observatory to the interested individuals.
B. Long - Term

All-provider.

Our last words are that all praise belongs
exclusively to God, the all-Embracing Lord of the Universe.
With best wishes for you
